Somewhere along the way, full service wedding planning became associated with extravagance. I think we've missed the point. The real luxury isn't having someone make appointments for you. It's not having to remember who still hasn't answered. It's not wondering whether the contract protects you. It's not discovering three weeks before the wedding that two vendors made completely different assumptions. It's not being the person checking the timeline while you're having your hair done. And it's certainly not hiring a professional only to discover that you now have another person to manage.
My clients are perfectly capable people. That's precisely why I don't believe they should have to spend hundreds of hours doing work they've hired an experienced professional to carry. Time is a luxury. Peace of mind is a luxury. Having someone who knows what to notice is a luxury. Knowing someone has your back is a luxury.
